What is Narraty Studio?
Narraty Studio is a desktop teleprompter built for audiobook recording: paragraph-by-paragraph takes, backups, editing, and export to WAV or MP3. It runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux.
Does Narraty work without an internet connection?
Yes. Recording, editing, and export work fully offline. You only need the web for downloading the app, account or license flows on this site, and updates when you choose to fetch them.
Why does macOS show a security warning when I open Narraty?
The Mac app is distributed outside the Mac App Store and is ad hoc signed, not Apple-notarized. Gatekeeper may label it as from an “unidentified developer.” After installing from the disk image, use System Settings → Privacy & Security to allow Narraty, or use “Open Anyway” as described in Apple’s guide below.
