See Narraty Studio in action

From creating a project to recording paragraph by paragraph with visual pause indicators.

Import your manuscript

Load scripts from .txt, .md, or .docx. Paragraphs are split automatically—each becomes a separate recording segment so you can perfect every take.

Record paragraph by paragraph

The teleprompter shows one paragraph at a time with breathing indicators (░░ ███) for natural pacing. Adjust font size, line height, and alignment. Record or re-record each segment independently, then review everything in the timeline below.

Keep every take

Each re-record creates a backup. Right-click any segment and open Backups to listen to previous takes, promote one to main, or delete the rest. Never lose a good performance.

Edit segment

Right-click any segment and choose Edit. Drag the waveform edges to trim, right-click to split into parts, or add silence. You can also add silence from the main timeline. Preview with play, then save—all edits are applied as one clean audio file.

Generate AI voice-over

Use text-to-speech to create narration from selected text, the current paragraph, or the whole book. AI voice-over is a paid feature, just like export.

FAQ

What is Narraty Studio?

Narraty Studio is a desktop teleprompter built for audiobook recording: paragraph-by-paragraph takes, backups, editing, and export to WAV or MP3. It runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux.

Does Narraty work without an internet connection?

Yes. Recording, editing, and export work fully offline. You only need the web for downloading the app, account or license flows on this site, and updates when you choose to fetch them.

Why does macOS show a security warning when I open Narraty?

The Mac app is distributed outside the Mac App Store and is ad hoc signed, not Apple-notarized. Gatekeeper may label it as from an “unidentified developer.” After installing from the disk image, use System Settings → Privacy & Security to allow Narraty, or use “Open Anyway” as described in Apple’s guide below.

Where can I download Narraty and read release notes?

Builds and release notes are on GitHub Releases . You can also use the download page to pick the right installer for your system.
